I build systems, products and engineering teams. My career has moved from Linux servers and networking, through enterprise software and cloud architecture, to engineering leadership and hands-on AI development.

Leading enterprise platforms across architecture, engineering and cloud delivery. Worked with Enterprise Architecture to design and evolve a high-volume Fax platform handling millions of faxes daily, while also modernizing data ingestion and retrieval systems, including a pipeline reduced from 7 days to 30 minutes for 1M+ monthly records.
First Engineer → Technical Architect → Engineering Lead
Joined as the first engineer and built the product from the ground up. For an extended period I was the sole engineer, owning architecture, backend, frontend, data models, infrastructure and delivery before hiring, mentoring and building the engineering team. Built hybrid mobile applications for both Android and iOS using Ionic, including QR-code-based field workflows.

Worked across Chromium/macOS engineering, C++ and Objective-C, Python services and networking. Built SPDY-based encrypted proxy infrastructure with Node.js and TCP/IP tuning.

Systems → Cloud → Engineering Leadership: Started at LxLabs with C development, Linux servers, DNS/email/web infrastructure and networking. Progressed through enterprise software and architecture into Python, cloud platforms, AWS and distributed systems including OpenStack Keystone.
BUILD
I like building close to the problem. Throughout my career, I've built products and infrastructure from the ground up — from Linux systems and cloud platforms to enterprise software and 0→1 products. My independent projects and technical explorations are an extension of that same curiosity, giving me a way to explore emerging technologies, learn quickly and turn new ideas into working prototypes.
Early work around OpenStack identity and access infrastructure, working in Python and the systems layer. A formative chapter in building software where architecture, APIs, security and distributed infrastructure meet.
Encrypted proxy experimentation using Node.js and SPDY, rooted in hands-on networking and TCP/IP performance work from the Epic Privacy Browser era.
Joined as the first engineer and built the product from the ground up. For an extended period I was the sole engineer, owning architecture, backend, frontend, data models, infrastructure and delivery before hiring and growing the engineering team.
Built hybrid mobile applications for both Android and iOS using Ionic, extending the platform into field workflows including QR-code-based tracking.
Modernized enterprise retrieval and data workflows, including a pipeline processing 1M+ monthly records and reducing a seven-day processing cycle to about 30 minutes.
Built a working AI-powered Prior Authorization workflow during a hackathon using AI-assisted software engineering with GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio. Designed AI governance controls around approved models and controlled access while exploring agentic workflows, RAG, APIs and healthcare automation.
What it demonstrates: the ability to rapidly learn and apply new AI technologies, moving from a complex healthcare problem to architecture and a working prototype in a short timeframe — while keeping engineering judgment and governance in the loop.
Built a working packaged-food and ingredient scanner in two days as an independent technical experiment using AI-assisted software engineering. The project combines ingredient scanning, standardized 1–5 food ratings and calorie information into a practical prototype.

My current focus is the intersection of engineering leadership and hands-on development: AI-assisted software engineering, agents, RAG, cloud platforms, data pipelines and APIs. I use independent projects and technical experiments to explore emerging technologies, deepen my engineering skills and turn ideas into working prototypes.
The title may change over time. The approach doesn't: understand the problem, think through the system, build it, and make it work — with AI where it creates leverage, not as a substitute for engineering judgment.
